OUR POND IS GROWING!

When you visit the market, make sure you spend a little time sitting by our little farm pond. Things are really starting to take off in those waters, which are now teaming with Koi, Amers, goldfish, bluegill, perch, and other sunfish. Our resident snapping turtle might be hanging around, and we have even spotted a couple of muskrat in the back bank.

Grab a bag of fish food from the market and you'll be surrounded by finned friends in no time!

It's RAMP Season

The valley is green with the lush foliage of the Appalachian Ramps. Ramps are an edible bulb plant with a flavor resembling a garlic/onion mix. Both the bulb and the leaves are edible, and the flavor becomes stronger as the season progresses.

We love using ramps when cooking to spice up Italian dishes or anything you would use onions for. We also like to mince the bulbs and blend with fresh butter to make a great dip or garlic butter spread.

Great things in 2023

If you came to see SANTA in December you'll be excited to hear he's already agreed to visit us again in 2023!  Watch for information on some exciting workshops his elves have planned for local kids here at the farm. Santa's elves are already making plans for the woodshop workshop and the TWF goats will be joined by their new additions - the TWF Alpacas!!

Our Nigerian Dwarf breeding program is underway with three healthy mamas ready for kids in March & April. This fall we'll have even more fun with SIX lovely ladies in the breeding line up. On your way to the market, take a peek a the goat pasture up the hill and you just might see some adorable shenanigans in the sun!

Tucker Bear is working hard on his first masterpiece - a children's book he's hoping to complete by the end of this year. Stay tuned!

Watch for articles about and by the owners of TWF - Brian and Becky Frame - in the Coshocton Beacon. The Beacon is a great way to stay in touch with community activities and it's FREE to Coshocton County residents.

Speaking of Alpacas - we will soon offer brand new products in the market! Along with goat milk soap made right here on the farm, we've partnered with Tina of The Wooly Appalachian to bring you scrumptious yarn and finished wearables made from our very own alpaca fiber! More details in the works, in the meantime check out Tina's website at
